All operating data such as pressures, temperatures, fill levels, leakage monitoring are constantly displayed in the computer-aided control system or exceedings of threshold values are alerted. The facilities are inspected daily.

The Vohburg control center is manned around the clock. Damage to the plants is detected quickly and can be dealt with immediately at any time.

The Vohburg tank farm has an immission control permit for construction and operation. In addition to the safety precautions described, the approval notice stipulates extensive regular monitoring, inspections and numerous TÜV tests, which serve to maintain the status quo and operational safety.

A comprehensive safety report and its implementation, as well as safety management, is a prerequisite for obtaining the tank terminal's operating permit
